• Starting October 22, Mitsubishi will be recalling 66,000 cars for a second time due to the Takata air bag malfunction.
  • Back in 2015 Mitsubishi joined the large list of manufactures dealing with the Takata air bag recalls. The Takata air bag malfunctions by exploding with too much force, causing shrapnel to be thrown into the passenger. Takata air bags have been the cause for 19 deaths.

Mitsubishi Recall i-MiEV, Raider and Lancer

Mitsubishi vehicles affected by the recall include the i-MiEV, Raider, and Lancer models manufactured between 2004-2017.
