The pinion plug may not be secured, and could therefore cause the pinion gear to disconnect from the steering gear. This could cause the driver to lose control of steering, resulting in accident and injury.
The automotive company claims no injuries have been reported in connection to the recall. They plan to notify drivers in November.

The issue is with the vehicle doors, where a malfunction with the latch and/or cable is causing the door to be unable to open or close potentially. No accidents or injuries have been reported, however the danger lies in the door appearing closed but actually being open (meaning it could just fling open while driving!), or in the case of an accident the door being unable to be opened by emergency personnel. Also, it’s just a nuisance! Imagine getting locked in your vehicle, or being unable to close your vehicle door.
Ford will notify customers in the next month, but they have not said when the necessary parts will be available at dealers.
This is not Ford’s first issue with car doors either. Since 2016, 5 million Ford vehicles have been recalled for door-related issues. Ford claims this recall is entirely separate from previous ones.
The cost of this particular recall will be $267 million, and Ford projects that between the 2016 recalls and upcoming recalls, they will spend $935 million.

Fiat Chrysler Recall
When the 2011-14 Dodge Durango and 2011-14 Jeep Grand Cherokee models were first recalled for a brake issue, they may have not been fixed properly.
Dealers may have improperly installed a shield that prevents water from entering the brake booster, making them less effective.
The vehicles were first recalled in 2014, so for three years owners have been driving their vehicles believing their brake issue was fixed, all the while Fiat Chrysler debated on whether a second recall was necessary. they finally decided to initiate a “voluntary” recall.
Honda is recalling vehicles that were already recalled.
Owners are being urged to bring in their cars that were improperly fixed when recalled the first time for defective airbags. These vehicles are all part of the massive Takata airbag recall.
The Takata airbags were recalled due to improperly deflating and depositing shrapnel when ruptured.
No injuries have been reported with this recall. However, keep in mind that people have been driving around believing their cars were fixed and they were safe, only to find out they were still in extreme danger.
The original Takata airbag recall has killed 18 people, many in minor accidents that lead to their death due to the fatal airbag defect.
Toyota Recall on 1,100 2017 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid with roof rail crossbars.
The fasteners on the roof rails may not be installed properly. This means that any objects put up there could potentially fall off the vehicle. The result of this could cause a crash for yourself and/or other drivers.
Owners will not be notified until September 25th, so these road hazards will be on the highways until then.

Volkswagen recall on nearly 281,000 vehicles including the 2009-2016 CC, the 2006-2010 Passat sedan and the 2006-2010 Passat station wagon due to electrical issues.
The electricity powering the fuel pump could suddenly stop, causing the vehicle to stall. If the vehicle is in park, the same issue could cause the fuel pump to stay on, draining the car’s battery and preventing it from restarting.
Volkswagen currently does not have enough parts to fix every recalled vehicle. They will notify customers as they become available, but until then these stall-prone vehicles will remain on the road.
