A recall on the 2018 Toyota Camry is happening soon, with the manufacturer beginning the recall on March 30, 2018.
Close to 12,000 Camry vehicles with V-6 engines are a part of the recall because they may leak fuel. The fuel delivery pipes may not be connected correctly, increasing the risk of fire. If there is a fuel leak, fire can occur when the engine is started.
Dealerships should fix the recall issue for free. If they do not, call us at (877) 955-3666 so we can help you dispute your claim against the manufacturer.
There’s a recent Toyota and Lexus airbag recall due to defective airbag sensors – with approximately 49,000 vehicles affected. The models included in the recall are the 2016 Toyota Prius hybrid, 2016 Lexus RX SUV and 2015-2016 Lexus NX hybrid.
Some airbags have the possibility of not deploying during a crash.
The dealer should inspect and replace the airbag sensors for free. If for any reason they do not, contact us at (877) 955-3666, and we will help you with you claim against the manufacturer and dealership.
Toyota Recall on 1,100 2017 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid with roof rail crossbars.
The fasteners on the roof rails may not be installed properly. This means that any objects put up there could potentially fall off the vehicle. The result of this could cause a crash for yourself and/or other drivers.
Owners will not be notified until September 25th, so these road hazards will be on the highways until then.
