There’s a recall on the 2018 Ford F-Series pickup trucks and 2018 Expeditions. Close to 300,000 vehicles of these models sold in the United States are affected by this recall.
There are multiple cars affected in the newest Ford recall.
The 2014 and 2015 Fiesta ST (compact), the 2013 and 2014 Fusion (midsize), the 2013 to 2015 Transit Connect and the 2014 Escape SUV need to be taken in for coolant leak repairs.
The cylinder heads can crack and leak oil if the engines overheat from the coolant level becoming low.
If you own one or more of these vehicles, take the cars into the Ford dealership for repair. The mechanics will check for coolant leaks.

There’s a recall for the 2018 Ford Mustang manufactured at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan. The lighting behind the PRNDL on the dashboard may not turn on if the vehicle is shut off in Reverse, Neutral, Drive or Low. A heightened risk of rollaway may happen because the warning chime may not alert drivers.
The vehicles were built between the dates of March 14, 2017 and November 26, 2017. The approximately 2,100 cars have an automatic transmission premium 12.4-inch instrument cluster.
If you own this vehicle, contact your Ford dealership for repair. The software will be fixed for free.

There are major Ford recalls this week, as 1.3 million trucks in the U.S., including 2015-17 Ford F-150 and 2017 Ford Super Duty trucks.
Major Ford Recalls
The issue is with the vehicle doors, where a malfunction with the latch and/or cable is causing the door to be unable to open or close potentially. No accidents or injuries have been reported, however the danger lies in the door appearing closed but actually being open (meaning it could just fling open while driving!), or in the case of an accident the door being unable to be opened by emergency personnel. Also, it’s just a nuisance! Imagine getting locked in your vehicle, or being unable to close your vehicle door.
Ford will notify customers in the next month, but they have not said when the necessary parts will be available at dealers.
This is not Ford’s first issue with car doors either. Since 2016, 5 million Ford vehicles have been recalled for door-related issues. Ford claims this recall is entirely separate from previous ones.
The cost of this particular recall will be $267 million, and Ford projects that between the 2016 recalls and upcoming recalls, they will spend $935 million.
