Recall for the 2018 Ford Mustang
  • There’s a recall for the 2018 Ford Mustang manufactured at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan. The lighting behind the PRNDL on the dashboard may not turn on if the vehicle is shut off in Reverse, Neutral, Drive or Low. A heightened risk of rollaway may happen because the warning chime may not alert drivers.
  • The vehicles were built between the dates of March 14, 2017 and November 26, 2017. The approximately 2,100 cars have an automatic transmission premium 12.4-inch instrument cluster.
  • If you own this vehicle, contact your Ford dealership for repair. The software will be fixed for free.
