Ford recalls 2016 truck and SUV models as of December 2, 2017.

Recall Information

  • More than approximately 200,000 2016 Ford F-150 trucks and 2016 Ford Explorer SUVs are being recalled because of loose front power seats.
  • The issue is with the seat adjuster, making it possible for it to become loose or fall out completely. There is also concern with the front seat cushions if it is missing the upper left-hand pivot bolt.
  • This can leave drivers and passengers without proper restraint, putting the riders at higher risk of injury during crash.
  • The vehicles being recalled were built between January 22, 2016 and April 19, 2016.
