Fiat Chrysler Recall

Fiat Chrysler has recalled 646,000 previously recalled vehicles.

When the 2011-14 Dodge Durango and 2011-14 Jeep Grand Cherokee models were first recalled for a brake issue, they may have not been fixed properly.
Dealers may have improperly installed a shield that prevents water from entering the brake booster, making them less effective.
The vehicles were first recalled in 2014, so for three years owners have been driving their vehicles believing their brake issue was fixed, all the while Fiat Chrysler debated on whether a second recall was necessary. they finally decided to initiate a “voluntary” recall.
